Parker County Young Marines

Parker County Young Marines was established October, 2003.

The first Commanding Officer was Mrs. Quine Collins, U.S. Marine Veteran.
For the first couple of years, the unit was made up mainly of female Young Marines.
Through time, the unit has evolved to consist of about 30 percent female Young Marines and 70 percent male Young Marines.

Our training covers many of the subjects taught by the U.S. Marines.
These include: Close Order Drill (COD), Leadership, Team Work, Map Reading, Compass work, Fire Prevention, First Aid, and Drug Demand Reduction (Just Say NO!), Parades, Color Guards, and many others.

Our training is on going and always trying to be fun, useful and up to date.
